Victor Chen

Victor is a passionate clarinetist with a strong commitment to musical excellence and community engagement. As a devoted member of NJYS (New Jersey Youth Symphony) since 2020, he has not only expanded his musical skills and abilities, but he has also learned to work with others in the top ensembles of the organization. Under the clarinet quartet CL4tet, he has helped organize and take part in various community concerts in senior care homes and other events. Victor has earned principal and top chair placements in the NJMEA All-State and CJMEA Region ensembles for two consecutive years. He also attended Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan as principal clarinetist of the orchestra. Victor continues to pursue musical growth and excellence through his involvement in Melodic Miracles, where he seeks to use music as a tool for connection and positive change.
