Instrument Donations

Check out some of the instruments we have donated to local schools!

Westfield Intermediate School

In February 2025, Melodic Miracles made its first instrument donation to Westfield Intermediate School, a middle school for 5th and 6th graders. We donated a flute to a young student in need. The band director at WIS is William Choe, who is also a member of the MMF Adult Board.

Springfield Conservatory of the Arts

On August 29th, 2025, Melodic Miracles donated two alto saxophones to Marcos Carreras, the band director at the Springfield Conservatory of the Arts. It is the only music magnet school in all of Massachusetts.

“Thank you on behalf of all the students from the Conservatory of The Arts for visiting our school to donate two alto saxophones for band students in 6th grade. These instruments will allow our two most promising musicians to have their own instruments to use without having to share and we are absolutely thrilled and thankful for your generosity. It is our sincere hope that we can continue to work together as we both share the same desire to provide music to those who have limited access to instruments.”

Chicopee Public Schools

On September 5th, 2025, Melodic Miracles donated two flutes and two clarinets to Bellamy Middle School and Chicopee High School. Both schools are part of the Chicopee Public Schools District. Pictured is Trent Stucenski, band director at Bellamy Middle School.

“A huge thank you to Melodic Miracles for donating 4 woodwind instruments to our instrumental music program between Bellamy Middle School and Chicopee High School. With a growing music program and not a lot of resources, these donations will be an immense help to providing equitable access to instrumental music education in our schools. From these donations, I now have two students at Bellamy Middle School who can be a part of our band program who otherwise would not be able to participate. Thank you immensely, Melodic Miracles!”
